Wolfpack Swim Camp will be offering a 1-day start and turn clinic for ages 6-18. Some pools don’t have the proper facilities to work on starts (start blocks, wedge blocks) and many teams don’t offer enough time to work on starts or turns. What better time than the start of the short-course season to identify areas to improve and make the necessary adjustments? ALL swimmers can benefit from this clinic!
We will have NC State Collegiate swimmers on the blocks and in the water demonstrating dive starts, backstroke starts, relay starts, and turns for every stroke and IM transition**. On deck, we will have NC State coaches and visiting coaches with a low swimmer to coach ratio to ensure each swimmer gets the attention and feedback they need.
**The back to breast options will be reviewed but there is not ample time to teach a crossover turn during this clinic
