|Update: August 2 and August 9 currently have availability|
2020 has thrown us all a curve ball and Wolfpack Swim Camp is no exception. NC State University closed its campus to all K-12 programs through Summer 2020 which meant we had to cancel our Spring Technique clinic and our Overnight/Commuter Summer camps. We have been watching and waiting through the NC Reopening phases to determine how/when/where we could offer any form of camp or clinic. Lane space is at a premium as many club teams struggle to provide practices with city/county/university spaces closed. We are fortunate to have found space to offer several smaller clinics in July and August. Each of these clinics will be similar to the Spring Technique Clinic we offer each April.
With Championship season many months away, now is THE best time to identify stroke technique improvements and start to implement them. The clinic will be run by NC State coaches and Wolfpack Elite pro swimmers. NC State has 5 US National Team coaches. Wolfpack Elite is a small program consisting of US National Team members, Olympians, National Champions, and world-ranked swimmers. These clinics are an amazing opportunity to work with this elite group.
All 4 strokes will be covered in each clinic. For safety purposes, all participants should be able to swim 25 yards of each stroke. This clinic is appropriate for high-level swimmers looking to identify ways to improve efficiency in the water, young summer-league swimmers who are just getting started, and everyone in between. Note that we are not able to cover starts/dives during these clinics.
Our very popular underwater video add-on will be available for each stroke. For those that select this option, their stroke(s) will be videoed during the clinic and the analysis will be done by our coaches post-clinic and emailed home.
|2020 Summer Technique Clinics|
Sunday - July 19, 2020
*During registration you have the option to add underwater video analysis for the clinic. Choose 1-4 strokes. The swimmer will be filmed during the clinic but analysis will be done post-clinic and emailed home.
|Rising 1st Grade - Rising 9th Grade*
*The NCAA has extended the recruiting dead period through August 31. Unfortunately this means that swimmers who have started high school may not attend any clinic. We are hopeful the dead period will not be extended again and that we can offer clinics for high schoolers in the Fall.

These clinics are limited to 30 participants to comply with NC Reopening guidelines and requirements for swimming pools. Participants are permitted to use the restrooms however we ask that swimmers arrive and leave in their swimsuits to avoid locker room use. This facility has implemented additional cleaning protocols and we will have hand sanitizer available for use when entering the facility. Coaches and staff will wear masks when they need to be within 6 feet of a clinic participant.
